According to the announcement, Alcove, the first co-branded Move developer community, will promote smart contract programming languages in the Asia-Pacific region (APAC) with expert-led hackathons, education, and others

The hackathons will be hosted utilizing Alibaba’s Cloud technology to advance the development of Japan’s on-chain ecosystem and to encourage emerging web3 talents in the Alcove Japan community. Aptos to Lead Alcove Series of Alcove Initiatives

As part of the collaboration, the Aptos Foundation will spearhead several Alcove initiatives. Additionally, the hackathons will allow participants to learn from industry experts while inspiring the next generation of innovators and web3 developers. Bashar Lazaar, the Head of Grants and Ecosystem at Aptos Foundation, expressed Alcove’s commitment to creating a good user experience for the next generation of developers.
