In an effort to expand decentralized finance (DeFi) adoption, Frontier Wallet has just announced the latest support for Shibarium, the layer 2 blockchain network built on Ethereum for Shiba Inu (SHIB). This strategic move reflects the wallet’s commitment to catering to the rapidly changing interests of the cryptocurrency community.
What is Frontier Wallet?
Frontier Wallet is a non-custodial wallet that allows users to perform various activities such as storing, sending, and investing in crypto, DeFi, and NFTs. It also allows users to explore Web3 products and services on their mobile devices, interact with dApps, and translate transactions.
As a non-custodial wallet, only the user has sole control of his private keys. This feature aids in controlling the user’s cryptocurrency and proves that the funds are theirs. The platform also uses a fraud detection engine to scan transactions. Additionally, the wallet supports token swaps of more than 4,000 cryptocurrencies across 25+ blockchain network
Frontier Wallet Support for SHIBARIUM
Frontier Wallet has taken a significant step by including SHIBARIUM in its suite of supported cryptocurrencies. According to the wallet, this move underscores the platform’s foresight and dedication to embracing new and promising digital currencies that resonate with users.
“By integrating SHIBARIUM, Frontier Wallet aims to provide its users with innovative tools and opportunities to diversify their crypto holdings, recognizing the transformative impact SHIBARIUM and Shiba Inu are set to have on the future of digital transactions”, they added.
Users will have the ability to begin trading, staking, and earning $BONE through the integration of SHIBARIUM into Frontier Wallet. They will also have the option to secure the network by becoming validators.
The wallet further noted that its most recent support for SHIBARIUM offers a number of significant benefits to its users, including a high standard of security for transactions, an intuitive interface that will foster a positive and fulfilling experience, and global reach and connectivity.
Notably, its user base may have benefited from the news of this integration. The number increased from 29,000 three months ago to roughly 63,000 at present, and its ecosystem contains a noteworthy 1.351 million addresses.
The most recent move made by Frontier Wallet will impact both SHIBARIUM and Shiba Inu’s standing in the digital finance ecosystem. It will also show how digital wallets are becoming more and more popular for use with cutting-edge cryptocurrencies.
