Cryptocurrency financial services firm BlockchainCom has partnered with the American football team, the Dallas Cowboys, just a few weeks after hitting a $14 billion market valuation.

BlockchainCom Partners Dallas Cowboys

The partnership includes promotional activities such as branding, advertising, and content production.

The promotion will take place on different channels such as radio, TV, digital platforms, and in the club space inside the AT&T stadium, which is the home venue of the Dallas Cowboys.

Both firms did not disclose the financial terms of the partnership.

Additionally, Cowboys fans who own a BlockchainCom wallet will gain access to exclusive experiences and rewards such as VIP trips to away games as well as events hosted by players.

The club’s fans will also learn about crypto and digital assets though an upcoming “Block Party” and an educational conference.

“They [BlockchainCom] are bringing Wall Street to Main Street by making digital assets available to anyone, anywhere in the world – and that’s a touchdown for our millions of global fans. We take pride in being the first team in the NFL to sign an official cryptocurrency partnership, and are proud to venture into this innovative business with BlockchainCom,” Dallas Cowboys Owner, Jerry Jones said.

Sports and Crypto

Meanwhile, this is not the first time the NFL or a sports team is partnering with a crypto firm.

In November, the New England Patriots partnered with fan token platform Socios.com. That same month, popular crypto trading platform CryptoCom signed a $700 million naming rights deal with Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG), which saw the home venue of the Los Angeles Lakers rebranded to CryptoCom.

In March 2022, crypto exchange OKX signed a multi-year partnership deal with English Premier League Football Club, Manchester City.

Shortly after, Nashville SC became the first MLS club to take sponsorship fees in Bitcoin through a partnership with digital asset management firm Valkyrie. As part of the agreement, Nashville’s Premier Club new stadium will be renamed the “Valkyrie Premier Club.”
