The Shiba Inu team has announced some major upgrades to Shiba Eternity, a game powered by SHIB. The game which is a favorite among the SHIB community members has also recently received a blockchain version. This development was made known by Lucie, the marketing lead of the Shiba Inu ecosystem.

Shiba Eternity receives major upgrades

Earlier today, Lucie took to the microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter) to announce some major improvements to Shibarium’s Shiba Eternity game. According to her, the Shiba Eternity team has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to bring the updates to life.

She revealed that the first version of the project is already live and has been “polished” with some updates. Even though the new version was just released, Lucie pointed out that the team is not “slowing down,” and is already adding new features and tweaking the system.

She noted that there are lots of changes coming to the game and that the team is moving fast based on collective energy. In an X post from April 8, Mazrael, a prominent member of the Shiba Inu ecosystem team, offered some insight into the most recent version. He mentioned that the internal build was primarily concerned with two things: enhancing performance and resolving card interaction problems.

This signifies that the issues with the Princess Andromeda card and the problem with using Stealth Fighters cards have been fixed. Users can now update their apps to get the latest features on Android and iOS.

Significant modifications to kibbles and Shiboshis, two essential elements of the Shiba Inu universe, are among the exciting upgrades that are coming. Users can also expect the addition of a breeding system and new cards. This could provide the gaming experience with new dynamics.

Additionally, Lucie revealed that the team is quickly working on transforming Shiba Eternity into a play-to-earn model and players can earn Treats for SHIB by holding Shiboshis.

What this means for Shiba Inu (SHIB) price

Relating to the price of Shiba Inu (SHIB), the development will have a potential impact on the price of the token. A percentage of the money made from Shiba Eternity in-game sales will go toward purchasing Shiba Inu and burning it afterward. There are important ramifications for both investors and the larger Shiba Inu community from this SHIB token burn scheme. The SHIB burn mechanism aims to reduce the total amount of Shiba Inu in circulation which can potentially affect the price of the token in the long run.
